In October 2020, the BSB51615 Diploma of Quality Auditing was superseded by BSB50920 Diploma of Quality Auditing. Both qualifications reflect the role of individuals who possess advanced competency in quality auditing.
The packaging rules for the former BSB51615 Diploma of Quality Auditing consisted of a total of 8 elective units. At Gray Management Systems, we offered the following 8 units, across 6 courses:
From 1 October 2021, we will be offering the new BSB50920 Diploma of Quality Auditing. The eight units mentioned above have been upgraded and deemed to be equivalent for credit to the new Diploma which contains 12 units. The extra four units will be facilitated by Gray Management Systems by completing our new cluster titled ‘Managing Compliance’ as shown below.
Information for current (prior to 1 October 2021) and former students of Gray Management Systems
Students enrolled in any GMS course prior to 1st October 2021 (or a student with existing qualifications from another RTO) & not yet issued with a Diploma, you have the following options:
Option 1: Complete remaining units of the former BSB51615 Diploma prior to 19 April 2022 and attain the BSB51615 Diploma of Quality Auditing upon successful completion of course requirements.
Option 2: Complete remaining units of the new BSB50920 Diploma and attain the BSB50920 Diploma of Quality Auditing upon successful completion of course requirements.
Information for students enrolling in any cluster courses from 1st October 2021.
You will be eligible to enrol and complete the new Diploma BSB50920.
What if I already have been awarded the BSB51615 Diploma of Quality Auditing?
You are invited to upgrade your qualification to the BSB50920 Diploma of Quality Auditing. To achieve this, you will be required to successful complete the new cluster course ‘Managing Compliance’. GMS will credit transfer the other 8 units of competency you have already achieved and issue you with the new BSB50920 Diploma of Quality Auditing. Please note, BSB51615 is still a valid qualification, just not the most current one.
