This training course is an introduction into the subject of risk management and the requirements of the current risk management standard AS/NZS 31000. The training course will benefit those people that have just embarked on a career involving risk management, or, those wishing to gain a better understanding of the subject, or those who are intending to implement risk management systems sometime in the future.

The course content includes an overview of the history of risk management, provides an easy to understand explanation of the current risk management standard’s content and introduces strategies for those people who may be wishing to implement risk management within their business.

Course Objectives By the end of the course students should have gained knowledge of the:

  • Common types of risk

  • Risk management standard AS/ISO 31000

  • Risk management principles, framework

  • Application of risk management process, tools & techniques

  • Risk management requirements of ISO 9001
  • Strategies for implementing risk management

The venue for this course is The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins, 630 Little Collins Street Melbourne, just across the road from Southern Cross Station. Car parking is not included but available nearby. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea provided. Please let us know your dietary requirements when enrolling.
