GMS Customer Feedback Journey

Hi it’s Sarah here from Gray Management Systems.

We recently embarked on a customer feedback journey, because we greatly value each and everyone of our clients and students and naturally we are always looking at ways to improve the quality of our services.

We had many questions, but it all came down to the basic questions such as:

  • How are we doing?
  • Are we meeting our clients and student needs?
  • Do we need to expand on the training we currently provide or are we on the money, so to speak?

So in search for our answers, we reached out to students and clients, past and present, in order to get the answers so we could really evaluate how well we are doing as a business, and as a registered training organisation who strives to deliver high quality education in the VET sector.

Generally speaking, auditing seems to be perceived in a negative light, but our training very quickly turns this perception around for our students. Many of our students walk away from our courses with a spring in their step and a renewed energy around auditing to take back to their workplace thus implementing positive changes within the business in which they work. Here are some direct quotes from our amazing clients.

‘I cannot speak highly enough about this course and Geoff.’

Shane Reeve – PQMS Quality Officer, Monash University

‘It is hard to make this kind of stuff “fun” but Gray Management made it work!’

Jemmason Power – Accreditation Support Officer, Queensland Aboriginal & Islander Health Council

‘It was how adult learning should be.’

Tom Robertson – Program Manager Compliance, City Of Melbourne

We also acknowledge the importance of ensuring our training is interactive and engaging and we were pleased to have the feedback confirm exactly that. As educational trainers, we must ensure our students are engaged and can apply the learnings directly to a real-life scenario in their workplace. We know from experience, that if the students can do this, they are more likely to retain the learnings and apply the framework taught.

But of course, there is always room for improvement, progression and to evolve as a business and as a team of driven individuals. “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” (Einstein, 1930)

As we at GMS strive to keep our balance, we must keep moving forward. How are we choosing to improve?

The short answer is more educators maintaining current skills and knowledge, updating course content and materials, sharing more knowledge by way of free resources such as webinars, audit checklist templates, sample reports, access to a podcast with compliance experts and more!

The long answer? You’ll have to join us for the journey and watch all that is yet to come!

If you are looking to up-skill your team to conduct internal audits, the 2 day Management Systems Auditing course is facilitated online and in-person. Day 2 of the course is practical and can be tailored to your specific business requirements. For in-house or group training, please contact me via email: loren@grayms.com.au.
